Audio and sculptural installation

“Floating in the interspace uncertainties, “Ensemble” by Proudfoot & Piasecka tackles the personal closeness of the artists with states of fluctuating health. Building on their collaborative practice and exploring the relationship between performance and sculpture, the installation includes a series of “clothes-sculptures” presented on animatronic structures, Mimicking internal bodily functions. The sound work which accompanies it is inspired by therapeutic ASMR, somatic movement practices and sampling techniques. In tandem, both sculptures and the sound work prepare the ground for a live performance but come to embody the performance itself.”
