Aniela has taught as a guest teacher / facilitator at The Work Room, Dance Base, Edinburgh College of Art, Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, Kinning Park (UK), Dance Ireland and Dance Limerick (Ireland), La Villa Arson with Myriam Lefkowitz and Sophie Orlando and L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs with Myriam Lefkowitz (France). They also teach and assist classes regularly as part of Dance Base’s Inclusive Programme. She has a particular interest in leading somatic material that can support experiences of pain.
They were a participant in the interdisciplinary pedagogical research project CAMPUS at Nottingham Contemporary in 2019 and a participant of the Critical Dance Pedagogy Artist Lab 2024.
As Co-Lead Artist of community arts project Camelon Arts with Artlink Central (from 2021-2022) she was responsible for co-curating and co-managing the local programme of events spanning film-making, public art commissions, and workshops.
From 2022-2023 they were artist-in-residence with Inverclyde Culture Collectiveworking on the research strand “Exploring Health, Illness, Disability and Long term Conditions” and supporting community engagement around chronic pain.
She has also contributed to talks and symposiums at Dance Ireland, Dance Base, SITE Gallery (UK) & Institute of Art, Design and Technology (Ireland) on topics such as artistic collaboration and site-responsive working methods.
In an access support role and as a creative enabler they work with Aby Watson, having supported the delivery of projects with Teatro Británico Lima and British Council in Peru, Théâtre National de Bretagne and UNLIMITED in France, Internationale Tanzmesse Dusseldorf and HZT Berlin in Germany, The Royal Conservatoire Antwerp, Belgium and Scottish Neurodiverse Performance Network.
